Document Description
This project involves removing approximately 18000 square feet of dead turf in the island strips and replant with non-invasive, drought- tolerant flowering plants that will bloom throughout the year. To be consistent with the well groomed appearance of park these will be planted in a manner that is aesthetic and geometrically structured. The areas in between the plants would be filled in with mulch for the purposes of water conservation. The irrigation would be retro-fitted to use low volume drought friendly drip / micro spray irrigation.
