Document Description
The project is the adoption of the 2015-2022 Housing Element of the City of Livermore General Plan. Consistent with State law, the Housing Element assesses existing and future housing needs, analyzes opportunities and constraints to residential development, describes housing-related programs, and establishes goals, policies, and objectives to meet housing needs. The Housing Element includes a land inventory that demonstrates existing land use plans provide sufficient capacity for residential development to meet the City's Regional Housing Needs Allocation (RHNA), as determined by the Association of Bay Area Governments (ABAG). The project does not include the rezoning or re-designation of any properties, nor does it propose site-specific development.
