Document Description
U15-009 and EIS15-015. A Use Permit proposing the development of a full service County Corporation Yard with an approximately 28,000 sf Public Works and Transit building consisting of the following: 5,200 sf of administrative offices and employee corridors; 3,060 sf for a second-story multipurpose room that can be used for conferences, meetings, training and an alternative Emergency Operations Center; 16,480 sf dedicated to parts and service with 8 equipment service bays; and 3,200 sf of covered storage. The project will also result in several other improvements including: an approximately 2,000 sf and storage shed; a tire storage shed; a concrete de-mudding basin and truck/bus wash bins; two designated open equipment storage areas; a 1.98-acre portion of the site designated as "Open Materials Storage"; a 2.33-acre "County Storage Open Area"; a 2.71-acre "Future Development Area" (not considered a part of this project); a six ft tall chain link fence topped with razor wire; new paved and gravel roads for access and internal circulation; new utilities; onsite lighting; drainage facilities; landscaping; a septic system; and onsite parking (50 regular spaces, 5 ADA accessible spaces, 14 bus parking spaces and 73 emergency and special event overflow parking spaces).
