The County of San Luis Obispo Department of Public Works (County) is proposing to replace a structurally deficient bridge on Cypress Mountain Drive at Klau Creek (Bridge No. 49C-0033). Activities associated with construction of the new bridge will consist of clearing and grubbing, demolition of the existing bridge, excavation and placement of concrete slab, barrier and guard rail installation, retaining wall construction, culvert replacement with RSP, and habitat and bank restoration. A temporary crossing through the creek will be required to allow access for residents. Occasional temporary road closures will be required during working hours to facilitate the work.
