Eastern Municipal Water District proposes to construct and operate a new Booster Pumping Station (BPS) located on the southwest corner of Redlands Boulevard and Hemlock Avenue in the City of Moreno Valley. The new facility will replace the existing Redlands and Ironwood BPS located on the northwest corner of Redlands Boulevard and Ironwood Avenue, approximately 1,500 linear feet north of the new proposed BPS. The purpose of the Redlands and Hemlock Booster Pumping Station Project is to address safety concerns, deficient capacity, and inadequate access associated with the existing BPS. The Proposed Project includes the demolition of the existing facility; construction of a new facility and related appurtenances; and installation of approximately 1,500 linear feet of 24-inch diameter discharge pipeline.
