Document Description
Proposal to construct an interim 48" reinforced concrete pipe (RCP) 222-feet in length across unimproved Morgan Street to connect an existing concrete Perris Valley MDP Line G channel with the Perris Valley Storm Drain (PVSD) channel. The purpose of the interim RCP improvement is to convey nuisance flow from Line G and is designed to dewater the existing sump conditions during a storm event adjacent to the PVSD channel, as the existing 24" PVC pipe outlet is buried below grade and is substandard in size and design to effectively drain water into the PVSD channel. The interim relief drain will be below the surface as it traverses to the outlet point at the PVSD channel that allows for the drain line to maintain slope of .0030. Concrete headwall and inclined trash rack will be installed at the inlet to prevent debris from flowing into the PVSD channel rip-rap at the outlet to minimize erosion.
