Document Description
SWRCB is a responsible agency for this project. SWRCB's Safe Drinking Water Proposition 84 Program is providing state funds for the project. Laton Community Services District proposes a project that includes reimbursement for the cost to install chlorine chemical feeds at each well site. Once installed, these facilities would be permanent for use during other emergencies requiring disinfection. Repairs to the pump at well 6 are long term repairs as well. The reimbursement would also cover the costs of repeat bacteriological sampling that occurred during this incident.
