Document Description
Excavate three soil borings to determine the type and quality of the soil located at the Irvine Finch Boat Launch at Bidwelll-Sacramento River SP. Work entails two exploratory borings within the parking lot and restroom improvement areas with a truck-mounted drill rig equipped with hollow-stem augers (HSA) to depths of approx. 5 feet, based on conditions encountered. Additionally, one exploratory boring will be located within the proposed boat ramp improvement area with a truck-mounted drill rig equipped with mud rotary drilling techniques to a depth of approx. 40 feet, based on conditions encountered. Specific repairs identified through the testing process will be subject to further review under CEQA. All borings will be filled with cement slurry.
