Document Description
The purpose of the project is to design a standard roadway vertical alignment to improve ride and safety at the Burlington Northern Santa Fe at grade crossing. The existing SR 36 road crossing does not match the current super-elevation of the rail, resulting in a rough ride. Proposed work will consist of pulverizing the existing pavement, placing a thin asphalt overlay, and restriping. All roadway work will be done within the existing ROW.
