Document Description
The project includes construction of two groundwater monitoring wellls to address concerns of the proposed CD IV project's well field production on cold groundwater that supplies water for the Town of Mammoth Lakes. One well will be located on existing geothermal well pad 14-25 (single piezometer) and the other well will be at the USFS "junk yard" east of the Mammoth Lakes Welcome Center (visitor center) on US Highway 395. The lands are managed by the Inyo National Forest with geothermal leases managed by the Bishop BLM Field Office.
