Routine dredging episodes will occur approximately every 3 years and will encampass the entire footprint of the marina which including the entrance channel, fairways, and all existing berths. It is estimated that approximately 75,000 cubic yards of material will be removed from the seven acre marina over a 10-year period of routine dredging. A barge mounted clamshell dredge will be used to excavate approximately 20,000 cubic yards of sediment from the first dredging episode.
