Document Description
The proposed transaction is the approval of modified Ground Lease terms, materially consistent with the business terms approved by Regents. The basic transaction is 1) a ground lease of the property approximately (10.3 acres) to a private entity; and 2) a space leaseback of the building (362,800 gross square feet) by UCSF for a term of from five to ten years. The proposed space leaseback allows for the ongoing occupancy by UCSF office programs until replacement space is planned and developed at other appropriate campus locations.
