Document Description
The proposed project is the San Diego Martin Luther King Jr. Day Parade, which will take place along Harbor Drive and Pacific Highway on Sunday, January 18, 2015. The District will provide sponsorship in the form of District funding and services for the event, a parade in honor of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. The parade will feature floats, high school bands, drill teams, colleges, fraternities, churches, organizations, and peace and youth groups. The event has an expected attendance of over 4,000 people. Traffic controls will be in place on the day of the parade, January 18, 2015, as requried by the City of San Diego.
