The proposed project involves an agreement between San Diego Unified Port District (District) and Allied Waste Systems, Inc. for solid waste and recycling collection, disposal, and management services at various District facilities and as needed locations. Solid waste and recycling collection, disposal, and management services include monthly solid waste collection at District facilities, as needed dumpster collection, and a comprehensive recycling program. Currently, the District has separate service agreements for dumpster collection and recycling services at various District facilities and as needed locations.
