Document Description
The State Water Resources Control Board (SWRCB) Safe Drinking Water Proposition 84 Program is providing state funds for the project. The Oxbow Marina Mutual Water Company proposes to The Ox-Bow Marina Mutual Water Company is proposing to install a new 12-inch water pipeline to supply potable water from the City of Iselton to Ox-Bow Marina. The pipeline will connect to California American Water's existing 12-inch pipeline located along 6th street and travel through the City's Corporation Yard across active farmland and into the Ox-Box Marina and development. The pipeline will then be reduced to an 8-inch diameter pipeline once onsite. New services to each point of use will be installed along with a meter to measure water usage from the 8-inch diameter pipeline. Fire hydrants will also be installed. The goal and purpose of the project is to provide improved potable water that complies with State and Federal drinking water regulations. The existing water supply from two onsite wells exceeds the arsenic standard and is out of compliance.
