- The proposed activities would enhance the project area by transitioning it from a landscape of mostly diked pasture land to a system of pastures and natural habitats including estuarine and tidal slough channels, freshwater streams, freshwater waterfowl ponds, and agricultural pastures. The State Lands Commission action is an approval of a 25-year General Lease - other through Nov. 28, 2042.
