Document Description
The project will improve safety on the double curves on Vaca Valley Road by increasing the curve radius at each end of the esscurve. Approximately 0.18 acre of right-of-way will need to be acquired for the road realignment. No roadside drainage work will be needed as the realignment will shift Vaca Valley Road into an adjacent orchard which sheet-flows away from the road. Some underground utility relocation will be necessary; however, no relocation of utility poles will be required. After realignment is completed, the new section will be striped and new advisory speed signs will be installed.
