Document Description
The subject project consists of the renovation and redesign of the Golf Course to improve general playing conditions; and the restoration of the Sawmill Gulch Creek as it crosses portions of the golf course. A critical objective is to achieve a 25 percent reduction in the overall water use which would be achieved by an overall reduction of existing irrigated turf areas by approximately 16 acres. Hole-by-hole improvements include changes - reduction/expansion/relocation - to the tee areas, green areas, sand/bunker areas, fairways and roughs; removal/relocation of cart paths and substitution of new cart paths with permeable surfaces; tree and vegetation planting and landscaping installation. The improvements and redesign for each hole are illustrated in the Initial Study.
