The project generally includes four components, as follows: 1) establishing the use of the existing structures as library/museum, bookstore and gift shop; 2) holding public and private events at the Library building as specified in the MND; 3) bathroom addition to the Library building and other site improvements; and 4) Lot Line adjustment. The applicant also proposes to provide 26 "on-site" parking spaces; including 14 spaces in the front of the property and 12 spaces along the site's southern boundary, including a portion of the neighboring site under a proposed parking, access and utility easement; and the use of shuttle services to transport event attendees to and from the Big Sur area, the Monterey Peninsula and other areas depending on the scale and nature of the particular event.
