Document Description
The proposed project consists of removing the existing trapezoidal channel and constructing approximately 2,070 feet of Reinforced Concrete Box (RCB) ranging from 8 ft.wide by 4 ft. high to 14 ft. wide by 5 ft. high. The main line will be constructed within Monroe Street beginning at the upstream terminus of the existing Monroe/Monticello Channel underground RCB project approximately 600 ft. south of California Avenue and extending south in Monroe Street to its connection with the existing Monroe Channel, Stage 1 RCB project approximately 70 ft. north of Magnolia Avenue. Nine existing laterals will be reconnected to the newly constructed RCB mainline at points where the laterals are currently connected to the existing channel.
