Document Description
This regulatory action is for a proposed Conditional Waiver of Waste Discharge Requirements (WDRs). The intent of the Conditional Waiver is to ensure agricultural wastewater discharges and discharges of waste from drain maintenance and operation (O&M) activities in the Imperial Valley in Imperial County, occur in a manner that does not adversely affect the beneficial uses defined in the Basin Plan for the Alamo River, New River, Imperial Valley Drains, and the Salton Sea. Accordingly, the proposed Conditional Waiver establishes conditions for agricultural wastewater discharges and discharges that occur as a result of drain O&M within the Imperial Valley.
