Document Description
The California Department Fish and Wildlife has executed Streambed Alteration Agreement number 1600-2017-0123-R6, pursuant to section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to the project Applicant, Strata Bazter, LLC. The Baxter Village Project is a mixed-use residential and commercial development. Single-family residential houses are proposed along the entire western portion of the site, totaling 12.5 acres. Three story walk-up apartment buildings are proposed in the northeastern portion of the site, totaling 11.3 acres. The commercial portio of the project is located in the southeastern portion of the site and comprises 12.2 acres. Additional features of the project include a community multi-use trail, a recreation area and retention basin in the southwestern corner, a second retention basin in the southeastern corner, and landscape buffer along the eastern boundary. The project also include an approximately 9-acre off-site area to accomodate disturbance from grading activities and City-required road improvements to White Street and Baxter Rd/Central Ave. The project will temporarily impact 0.62 acres of Fish and Game Code section 1602 resources.
