Document Description
The project is a request for a CUP to allow the construction and operation of a self-service storage facility, and to allow the grading of 8,500 cubic yards of total cut plus total fill material in the Santa Monica Mountains North area of unincorporated Los Angeles County. The project site is currently vacant and undeveloped. The project proposes the construction of three self-service storage buildings. Building A is a three story, 59,850 sf structure, Building B is a one story, 11,765 sf structure, and Building C is a one-story, 13,850 sf structure. In addition, the project proposes the construction of a one-story, 1,000 sf manager's office. The total sf for all new structures is 83,465 sf. The project will involve grading for a total cut and fill on 8,500 cubic yards. The facility will provide storage space for recreational vehicles and personal and business goods. The regular hours of operation are from 7 am to 5 pm daily, and any visitation to the site outside of the regular hours of operation will be under the supervised by the manager or a designated employee.
