Document Description
In the new dry Red Hill Bay area of the Saltor; Sea, a series of low earthen berms will be constructed to create water impoundments in two large cells The impoundments will contain approx. two or three feet of water and contain loafing islands, snags and other habitat enhancements. The resulting brackish shallow water habitat will benefit local and migratory bird species as well as the federally listed, endangered native desert pupfish.
