Document Description
The San Gabriel Valley Water Company - Fontana proposes to demolish an existing semiunderground 4.14 Million-Gallon tank, a chlorination room, guard post, fence, gate, and associated structures. The Project also involves the construction of a 30-foot tall, 4.1-million gallon tank, another 30-foot tall, five and half-million gallon tank, a new building that would house the existing booster pumps, piping, a retaining wall, a new iron-gate, valve appurtenances, and streetlights. A 62,922 cubic-foot infiltration basin, riprap energy dissipater, bioswale, drain, earth berm, City sidewalk, and landscaping will also be installed. A zone change and general plan amendment will be implemented, changing the existing land-use on the southern portion of the site from residential planned community to public facilities and on the northern end of the site from residential planned community to community commercial. The Project will also allow for the possible future development of a 104,544-square foot commercial/retail use.
