Document Description
The California Department of Fish and Wildlife (CDFW) has executed a Lake or Streambed Alteration Agreement (SAA) (EPIMS-SBR-30035-R6), pursuant to Fish and Game Code section 1602, to the project Applicant, County of San Bernardino as represented by Nancy Sansonetti. The project is limited to the replacement of the existing Rock Springs Road low-water crossing across the Mojave River with a new bridge and realignment of Rock Springs Road. The new bridge will be south of the existing lowwater crossing. The bridge will be approximately 950 feet long and 46.5 feet wide. Project activities will include construction of a new bridge, a roadway alignment, curb, gutter, sidewalk and drainages improvements, and utility relocation including the overhead electrical transmission lines, underground waterline, and other utilities currently in the project area. Construction of the proposed project will take place in stages. Temporary impacts to 4.10 acres of streambed resources pursuant to Fish and Game Code section 1602.
