Document Description
The proposed Project involves the emergency repair of a damaged water pipeline. The Project as authorized in the ITP will result in permanent impacts to desert tortoise and Mohave ground squirrel habitat. The Project is expected to result in incidental take of desert tortoise and Mohave ground squirrel which are designated threatened species under the California Endangered Species Act (CESA). The ITP referenced above as issued by CDFW authorizes incidental take of species listed under CESA that may occur as a result of Project implementation.
