Document Description
The Santa Barbara campus proposes to remove 25,500 sq. ft. of non-native shrubs including Acacia and Golden Wattle on a strip of land between Highway 216, and a class I bicycle and pedestrian path. The purpose of the project is for public safety. The land is designated as Open Space and there is no Environmentally Sensitive Habitat. One oak tree on the site is protected and preserved.
