Document Description
Remove, and replant, a historic silver maple tree due to it being identified as a hazard tree by the Dept. of Parks and Rec's Forester. The tree has lost over 40% of its structural roots and is a hazard to the historic Bidwell Mansion and the public. Work will: Remove the silver maple tree. Plant a new silver maple in the general vicinity, avoiding current infected location. Remove an adjacent sweet gum tree that has been identified in the Bidwell Mansion Historic Landscape Report as a non-historically accurate specimen.
