Project consists of reducing problematic erosion and channel incision of the stream bed and banks by trapping bed load in the stream bed and improving aquatic habitat of aquatic species. By capturing bed load, the project would aggrade the channel, partially returning the stream bed form and incised condition to its previous elevation while reducing problematic bank erosion.
