Document Description
Project includes improvement of the safety conditions along Cottage Way between Cortez Lane and Watt Avenue by restriping to reduce the travel lanes from 4 to 3 and adding a two-way left-turn lane (road diet). The project also proposes installation of bike lanes, and modifications to intersections which include updating ramps for ADA compliance and installing bicycle detection at the intersections of Cottage Way/Fulton Avenue, Cottage Way/Morse Avenue, and Cottage Way/Watt Avenue. The traffic signal at the intersection of Cottage Way and Fulton Avenue will be modified from a six-phase signal to an eight-phase signal, requiring new mast arms and signal heads for the eastbound and westbound directions.
