Document Description
Project will connect the end of the levee to high ground, suitable fill material (soil) will be placed in the gap between the end of the levee and the existing high ground. The fill material would be contoured and compacted and gravel would be placed on top of the fill material to match the existing base on the levee crown, about 6 inches. Levee will be minimally regraded (6-12 inches deep for about 350 feet) to improve drainage along the land side toe.
