A Grading Permit for a grading operation that disturbed approximately 1.0 acre of a 4.5-acre property for the purposes of leveling land for a residential dwelling. Grading activities were conducted over a two-week period in March 2013. The Grading Plan also includes the following new corrective actions that will be implemented to stabilize the southern descending slope: remove fill from slope and stockpile on leveled area; strip existing vegetation, topsoil, debris, and deleterious materials and dispose offsite; 'scarify' areas to receive engineered fill; and reconstruct the fill slope using the stockpiled material according to a Geotechnical Report prepared for the project. The project site is zoned FR-20 (Foothill Residential 20-acre minimum) and is designated Foothill Residential in the General Plan.
