The proposed project would establish two main pedestrian only trail corridors with associated staging areas (parking areas) that would allow for low-intensity public access to pursue outdoor recreational and educational uses. The proposed future uses may include - hiking, nature study, bird watching, sightseeing, picnicking, outdoor education, docent-led tours, scientific research and observation, as well as limited seasonal access to the Estero Americano for recreational uses such as kayaking and canoeing.
