The Rancho Breisgau Habitat Restoration Project area is located on the border of Shasta and Tehama Counties. Most of the project area resides in Shasta County, with a portion of the project being in Tehama County. It lies on the north and west side of Battle Creek between the creek and the Sacramento River. The proposed project consists of restoring approximately 306 acres (along the right bank of Battle Creek and left bank of the Sacramento River, RM272-274). Township 29 North, Range 3 West. Sections 3, 10, and 11 MDM.
