Document Description
This proposed project includes operational improvements at SR-68 and Corral de Tierra Road intersection. The roadway improvements will widen the SR-68/Corral de Tierra Road intersection to accommodate construction of a second left turn lane from westbound SR-68 to southbound Corral de Tierra Road and construction of a second southbound receiving lane on Corral de Tierra Road. An existing private driveway on the north side of SR-68 would be removed and realigned to connect to the driveway and the traffic signal at Corral de Tierra Road/SR-68 that currently serves the Cypress Community Church. Project will result in impacts to 0.18 acre of CA tiger salamander (Ambystoma californiense) habitat. The project is expected to result in incidental take of CA tiger salamander, which is/are designated as a threatened species under CESA. The ITP referenced above as issued by CDFW authorizes incidental take of species listed under CESA that may occur as a result of project implementation.
