On June 25, 2024, the Board approved the revised project budget of $1,755,000,000, an increase of $60,000,000 from the previous Board-approved amount of $1,695,000,000, for the Harbor-UCLA Medical Center Replacement Program. The approved budget adjustment is not a project under California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA), since it is excluded from the definition of a project under Section 21065 of the California Public Resources Code, and is a fiscal activity of government that will not result in direct or indirect physical changes in the environment.
