Document Description
The Huntington Beach Energy Project (HBEP) is a 644-megawatt, combined-cycle, natural gas facility. The project was certified by the California Energy Commission (CEC) in May 2017 and began commercial operation in June 2020. The CEC is amending the conditions of certification under its certified regulatory program to accommodate increased operation hours of the HBEP.
