Note: regulatory program certified by the California Secretary of Resources The Huntington Beach Energy Project will be natural gas-fired, combined-cycle, air-cooled, 939-megawatt electrical generating facility using existing linear facilities, and is designed to support both electrical reliability and grid stability to support peak demand and resource adequacy requirements. On October 29, 2014, the California Energy Commission approved the above-described project pursuant to a regulatory program certified by the California Secretary of Resources under Section 21080.5 of the California Public Resources Code. The Energy Commission adopted the Revised Presiding Member's Proposed Decision (RPMPD), and Errata for the convenience of the parties and the public; in the meantime, please refer to the individual documents. The effective date of the Decision is October 29, 2014.
