Document Description
The California Department of General Services (DGS) is performing design work and environmental review for Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) improvements to the Civic Center Complex. The proposed project would consist of ADA improvements including adding/modifying existing signage, adding entry mats; renovating all restrooms throughout the building (restrooms were previously renovated in 1998); installing automatic door openers to all interior doors; flattening the marble thresholds at elevator entries (marble will be removed, the underlying cement ground down, and then the marble will be reinstalled); and adding a passenger loading zone and L-shaped ramp to the front of the structure.
