Document Description
The proposed project is Christmas Comes to IB, which will take place at the Protwood Pier Plaza in Imperial Beach on Saturday, December 6, 2014. The District will provide event sponsorship and financial assistance for the event, a holiday festival that features a 20-foot-tall Christmas tree, Santa Claus and the Grinch. Christmas carolers and other community groups will perform on stage for the public to enjoy. In addition, refreshments and snacks will be provided to the public free of charge. The event has expected attendance of approximately 1,000 people. Parking will be available at the public parking facilities serving and located near the Protwood Pier Plaza.
