Document Description
The project is limited to repair of undermined concrete bank and channel invert protection immediately downstream of concrete channel. The damage consists of cracked concrete surrounded by a 2.5 foot deep square hole and a 10-foot-wide by 50-foot-long by about 5-foot-high void behind the hole. Additionally, there is 15-foot-wide by 91-footlong by 6- to 8-foot deep scour hole on the invert where the concrete stabilizer transitions to earth-bottom channel. The Permittee would repair the damage and restore the channel to "as-built" conditions to maintain the channel's design capacity and prevent further erosion, voids, and potential failure of the banks adjacent to the residential communities.
