Document Description
The project is limited to using an excavator within the ordinary wetted channel of Seiad Creek to dig holes approximately 8'-10' deep, in which fabricated well pipes will be placed before backfilling the hole around the pipe. These pipes will function as piezometers to collect data on groundwater depth and quality to inform the final design and construction of a larger habitat restoration project within the same reach of Seiad Creek. The pipes will be fabricated using 10' lengths of 1 1/2" schedule 40 steel.
