Document Description
DTSC pursuant to CA Code of Regulations (CCR) Section 66270.42 (e)(A) that authorizes the continuation of operation of the Gala Centrifugal Pellet Dryer Model 5048 (Dryer) at the Battery Wrecker Unit within the Quemetco Facility (Facility). The Dryer is deemed necessary to allow the Facility to remove moisture from crushed plastic battery casings prior to transfer of the plastic to trailer trucks for off-site shipment. This second Temporary Authorization shall have a term of not more than 180 days or expires when a Class 2 Modification is approved or denied within its 180 days time limitation.
