The proposed project includes the bifurcation of an existing leasehold between the District and the Chula Vista Marina (Marina), potential reciprocal agreement for parking, and the replacement or rehabilitation of all the existing concrete dock systems comprising the marina, as well as a minor reconfiguration to support a new Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) compliant gangway. The proposed project will either replace or completely rehabilitate the existing docks, depending on their existing condition. In addition, a new ADA-compliant gangway will be installed to provide ADA-compliant access to the marina. Overall, the marina's proposed configuration and slip mix count will remain identical to the existing marina, with the exception of installation of a new ADA-compliant gangway, as further described below. Work to complete the proposed project will occur primarily within the water with minor land side work required only for utility modifications and installation of the new pedestal.
