Document Description
CDFW has executed Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement No. 1600-2014-0144-R2, pursuant to Section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to Roberta J. Newman. Project consists of installation of about 728 sq. ft. rip rap on about 52 linear feet of the shoreline of Lake Almanor, to reduce erosion along the lakeshore. The project also includes installation of dry-laid stone steps, and "Biotechnical Erosion Control" by which about 36 live native willow, alder, cottonwood and dogwood stakes shall be planted within the rip-rap and watered by hand until the plants become established. Existing non-native junipers stairway and concrete steps shall be removed as part of the project.
