Document Description
Project is limited to 1 encroachment to conduct a one-time excavation with a small excavator of an approximate 600 foot stream reach to clear vegetation and sediment from an existing channelized stream (human constructed) through an agricultural pasture. Currently, the stream channel poorly conveys stream flows and readily floods with annual high flows due vegetation growth and sediment deposition in this low gradient reach, and from cattle trampling in the channel and along the banks. Riparian vegetation is grazed and herbaceous in nature with no developed shrub or tree layer.
