Document Description
Issue an easement to Santa Cruz at Seacliff SB for the Seacliff Village Streetscape Plan and State Park Drive improvement Project SB 1022 to improve the visitor experience. Said project includes provisions to incorporate the two subject lots, Assessor's Parcel No. 042-031-14 and 16, located at the entrance to Seacliff State Beach and to include an additional county right-of-way into a public plaza and beach promenade. The plaza will be at the north end of the block. A linear promenade will span the full block frontage (about 165 feet), heading south from the plaza at the north end to a crosswalk at the south end that crosses the street to enter the State Beach parking lot. On the south subject lot, six parking spaces wil lbe retained. The parking area will be visually buffered from the road by the broad landscaped promenade. The promenade will provide a dramatic visual enhancement to the frontage and will, as well, provide an attractive pedestrian corridor to Seacliff State Beach located within Santa Cruz County.
