The project will restore eight areas of the East Fork of the Carson River, south of Markleeville, damaged by off-trail OHV activity by replanting native vegetation, restoring riparian habitats, decompacting out of bounds trails and placing natural barriers (rocks, logs) and signs to delineate OHV trails. Up to five acres will be restored.
