Project will restore areas damaged by OHV activity within 125 acres of "limited access" riding areas of the Trona Pinnacles National Historic Site. The project will place obstructions including bollards and cable, peeler posts, boulders, and rocks to block routes. Routes will be raked and swept to obscure them. Native vegetation will be planted and foot trails will be restored. On slopes greater than 30 degrees, wattles would be installed to prevent erosion. Additional signage would be installed and illegal fire pits would be removed along with graffiti and refuse.
